What it is

BidMaster is a local-first estimating workspace for independent contractors and small crews. It brings contractor-entered scope, measurements, quantities, costs, photos, estimates, and proposals into one working place that remains useful offline.

Why it exists

An estimate has to carry a real job from early measurements and assumptions into something a contractor can review and a customer can understand. BidMaster exists to make that path easier to follow without hiding the inputs or depending on a hosted account for the core work.

What makes it different

Calculations are deterministic and remain grounded in the information the contractor enters. Material, labor, access, safety, tax, and package totals can be reviewed before preparing customer-safe proposals and documents. Photos are job documentation—not automated analysis—and private contractor details remain separate from customer-facing output.

Where it is now

BidMaster is on the Workshop workbench. Its estimating, proposal, cost-tracking, documentation, and offline foundations are being prepared and checked for a future release, but no public release or way to obtain it has been announced.
